BUILDING PLANS
Based on typical project

1) Free Consultation

We will discuss your project with you by your preferred method, whether this be a phone call, online meeting or in person at the site address. Following this meeting we can provide a detailed quote.

2) Survey

Once you agree to proceed, a detailed survey will be carried out.

3) Floor plan design

Floor plans will be designed based on your brief. We will provide a set of floor plans that you can then change up to 3 times at no extra cost allowing you the flexibility to get the right design without having financial pressure.

4) Elevations

When the floor plans have been decided, we then design the elevations/external views. Again, you have the flexibility to change the drawings up to 3 times without incurring additional fees.

5) Submission to Planning Dept

Once designed, we will advise what application this will need to be submitted under, complete the application forms and submit on your behalf. There are 3 typical applications we use and they are Certificate of Lawfulness, Prior Approval and Planning Permission.

6) Building Regulations

When the planning stage is complete, the Building Regulation drawings will then be completed. These are really detailed drawings that the builder will use to quote and also build from. These will get submitted to Building Control for approval prior to building works commence.

7) Structural Engineer

Any project that requires structural calculations, is sent to the engineer and they will provide a quote for their work. You have the opportunity to seek your own quotes should you wish.

8) Job complete

When everything is complete, we will send all drawings and correspondence to you. We are always available for a chat if you need a little advice.
